Wanted Carthage man found hiding in mom’s closet

A man from Carthage was taken into custody after he was found hiding in his mom’s closet after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Read the full press release below:

On Wednesday, Jasper County Deputies received information of a possible location of  27-year-old Ace Mohr of Carthage. Deputies along with Carthage Officers went to the address 1300 Park Ave in Carthage and located Mohr, hiding in his mother’s closet. Mohr was arrested for a No Bond Warrant for Fail to Appear on Assault 1st and Robbery 2nd, the warrant was issued on Monday.

Mohr was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center in Carthage
