Oklahoma COVID-19 deaths surpasses 660
The reported number of coronavirus cases in Oklahoma has increased by 544 and four more people have died as a result of COVID-19, the disease caused by the virus.
The Oklahoma State Department of Health on Sunday reported 48,342 confirmed cases and 661 deaths.
The true number of cases in Oklahoma is likely higher because many people have not been tested, and studies suggest people can be infected and not feel sick.
The state Department of Emergency Management said distribution of personal protection for schools statewide began Friday with shipments to Oklahoma and Tulsa counties and the deliveries will continue Monday.
