Another child killed in St Louis

Police in St. Louis say a 14-year-old boy has been shot and killed in the city’s Jeff-Vander-Lou neighborhood.

The shooting happened late Wednesday night, when police were called to the area for a report of a shooting and found the teen with a gunshot wound to the head.

The boy was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released the child’s name, and no arrests in the case have been reported. St. Louis has seen a surge of gun violence incidents involving children
