President Trump has signed an executive order that he says would give unemployed Americans a 400-dollar weekly payment, if states pick up 25 percent of the tab.
During a Capitol press conference, Governor Parson says his office is reviewing its options.“I think it’s a little premature to say exactly how that’s going to take place until we talk to the federal delegation and really see long term what that plan is,” says Parson. “We’re going to try to make sure that we implement it, that unemployment for those people out there, as much as we can.”
Some governors have said they don’t have the money.
