The “Squad’ gets bigger after last nights Missouri Primary

Activist Cori Bush defeated Congressman Lacy Clay, who has served two decades. Bush was surrounded by a group of excited supporters as she gave her acceptance speech, “what was birthed right here in St Louis Missouri, in St Louis county in Ferguson, if you didn’t understand… We’re about to show you” said Bush.

Bush narrowly defeated Clay by just over three-percentage points.

The group “Justice Democrats” who backed Bush, and also supports AOC and other members of the self proclaimed squad, tweeted yesterday, “From the Bronx to St. Louis, the Squad is here to stay, and it’s still growing.”
