Road rage incident leads to charges in Lee’s Summit
A 54-year-old Lee’s Summit man is facing four charges after an apparent road rage confrontation near Interstate 470.
Joseph Terry was charged Friday with unlawful use of a weapon, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action.
Police say one vehicle pulled in front of another on an exit ramp and stopped abruptly, causing the second driver to rear-end the other car.
Police say Terry then rammed into the victim’s vehicle and fired several shots into the car.
The victim suffered minor injuries from the crash and was grazed by the bullet.
