Neosho police looking for flag thief

Thursday, Neosho Police officers were told about a suspicious person being in the vicinity of U.S. Highway 60 and Highway 59.

Later, they discovered the American flag had been taken from the Military Memorial Flag Staff display just north of that intersection.

The person is a tall, slender male with several tattoos on his torso and chest area.

Additional reports of stolen flags have been reported to police by the Neosho VFW Post and Arvest bank.

The Neosho Police Department is actively looking for this individual, if anyone has additional information that would lead to the identification of this person, please notify  the police at 417-451-8012.
