Joplin School Board voted last night on how and when to return to school, but that vote ended in a tie last night.
The schools plan includes cleaning, distancing and only 50% of the students on campus per day with the other half virtual learning online at the high school.
With only 6 members at last nights meeting , Dr Debbie Fort was not in attendance, the vote was split 3 to 3.
The board will make its decision at a later date.
