The Art of Quarantine features art while stuck at home
One Missouri town is finding creativity through COVID-19. Steelville in Eastern Missouri’s Crawford County has created an art show. Miles Yeary with the arts council describes this exhibit, called the Art of Quarantine.
“ … art created during the covid-19 quarantine. There is some great, great arts exhibited. Everybody is at home finding out what they can do with their time, so the results have been great”
Yeary says the art was done by several different artists. “…it’s different mediums. It’s oil, watercolor. There is sculpture, there is wood working. Many different artist and many different styles.
Your last chance to see the art exhibit, The Art of Quarantine, is this Friday and Saturday from 10 until 4 at Gallery Zeke in downtown Steelville, Missouri.
