Harbin wanted in connection with woman’s shooting

Police are actively searching for 27-year-old Tyrell D. Harbin of Joplin.

Capt. William Davis of the JPD says Harbin is wanted in connection with a shooting of a woman early Saturday evening at 2925 E. 9th Street in the city. The woman is reported to be in critical condition at Freeman Hospital.

Police say Harbin fled the scene before police arrived.  A no-bond warrant has been issued for Harbin for assault in the first degree and armed criminal action.
