Duenweg Police Chief fired for racist Facebook comment

The city says he resigned "without force"

Duenweg’s Chief of Police is no longer employed with the department after a racist comment he allegedly made on Facebook. The city announced the move Sunday night after Chief Robert Vice commented “that monkey need to be put down like the wild animal he is” on a video that showed a black man and a police officer during what appeared to be dash cam footage of a traffic stop. The city says they take this issue seriously and that Vice is no longer with the department.
