COVID-19 invades camp for kids near Lampe

COVID-19 has invaded a camp for kids near Lampe, Missouri.

The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services says 41 people at Kamp Kan-a-kuk – including campers and counselors – tested positive for the virus.

The campers come from 10 states and attended camp in two different sessions.

Parents have been asked to pick up their children.

Camp directors are working closely with health officials in Taney and Stone counties.
