Unemployment easing in Missouri
The Missouri employment picture is improving, at least slightly.
That’s according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics. The rate was 10.1 percent for May, a drop from 10.2 percent in April.
This change comes after revisions were made to the seasonal adjustment factors for statewide employment and unemployment estimates.
While the employment appears to be rebounding from factors related to COVID-19, the unemployment rate is still three times higher than it was just one year ago.
