Webb City police officer and son seriously injured by alleged drunk driver

A Webb City Police Officer and his son are in intensive care, recovering from injuries they suffered when they were hit by an alleged drunk driver while vacationing in Florida.

The Webb City Police Department says Patrol Sergeant Brian Ward and his 2-year-old son were outside of their vehicle when they were hit. They were taken to separate hospitals where they were admitted to the ICU. Both are in stable condition.
