Walmart, Sam’s Club make major food donations

Walmart and Sam’s Club have stepped up to the plate during the Coronavirus pandemic to feed hungry Americans.

In April, Walmart donated 85 truckloads of food to various groups to help feed families.

Sam’s Club chipped in 84,000 lbs. of produce in the same period.

Walmart works with Feeding America’s 200 local food banks.

In FY 2019, the Walmart corporation donated over 640 million lbs. of food in the United States.
