Nevada man arrested for damaging property
A 21-year-old from Nevada was arrested after he allegedly damaged property in Sheldon. Read the full press release from the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office below:
In April, the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office took a report of property damage that occurred at
one of the farms owned by Murphy Family Ventures in Sheldon, MO. According to Vernon
County Sheriff Jason Mosher, Detectives began investigating the case and after multiple
interviews and follow ups, a suspect was identified and the report was forwarded to the
Prosecutor’s Office for potential charges to be filed.
On 5-01-2020, the courts issued an arrest
warrant charging 21 year-old Dylan Garwood of Nevada with 1st Degree Tampering with a Motor
Vehicle and 1st Degree Property Damage.
On Tuesday Afternoon, Sheriff Mosher along with Detectives were able to locate Garwood and
take him into custody without incident. Garwood is being held in the Vernon County Jail.
