Questions surround a theft and crash in Joplin

There are Lots of questions, but not many answers after a series of events last night in Joplin.

It started with a 9-1-1 call to Joplin police around 11pm last (Thursday) night. Police responded to a reported theft from the Kum and Go at 15^th and Rangeline  A short time later, near 11^th and Rangeline police found a single vehicle accident. A car had crashed into an electric pole and flipped. However, the occupant or occupants were nowhere to be found.

Police say that the items stolen from the Kum and Go have been found in the car. The suspect or suspects has not been located.
