Governor emphasizes the importance of smart choices
In an attempt to continue to slow the spread of the coronavirus, Missouri Governor Mike Parson said today this is an important time for all Missourians.
“Now is the time to continue social distancing and stay home as much as possible,” the Governor said in his Tuesday briefing on the pandemic from Jefferson City.
“We will overcome this,” the Governor added, “but we need everyone to continue making smart choices, being responsible and following the ‘stay at home’ order.”
The state reporting nearly 4700 cases of COVID-19 with the city of Joplin reporting 6 cases.
Jasper County reporting 15 cases and Newton County reporting 9 cases of the virus.
