Signs of the “stay-at-home” orders in Missouri

It’s has become common place to have to wait in line to enter some major box stores in the area. But, in a testament to the diligence of our fight against covid-19, those long lines are disappearing.

The State of Missouri and the State of Kansas issued “Stay-at-home” orders recently. A check of the stores in Joplin proved that the social distancing and staying home advice seems to be working.

Missouri State Health Department Director Doctor Randall Williams applauds our efforts. Williams says the curve is flattening and will continue to flatten if we continue take proper precautions. Dr. Williams also says the next two weeks are critical to making sure the curve flattens and we protect our fellow Missourians.
