Mercy adds small grocery store for employee convenience

What is the company you work for doing to help you get through the COVID-19 pandemic?

Mercy Hospital in Joplin has opened a small grocery store there to provide a place for workers to get the basics – eggs, milk, potatoes and the like.

Mercy is also selling low-price “grab and go” meals to employees.

Mercy officials say the grocery store and the meals benefit workers working long hours.

They say it also helps workers maintain good nutrition for themselves and their families.
