Lions take on cancer
Every three minutes someone is diagnosed with a life-threatening blood cancer.
The MSSU Football Team is doing what they can to tackle life-threatening blood cancers and you can help.
The Lions have teamed up with Be The Match to help save lives by recruiting potential marrow donors. It’s all happening today and tomorrow (March 4-5, 2020) from 11:00am to 3:00pm on the Missouri Southern State University Campus at The Oval.
The process is painless and consists of a health history form and giving a swab of cheek cells. Plus it only takes a few minutes to complete.
Leukemia, lymphoma and some other life-threatening blood cancers can be saved, but in many cases finding the match is the problem. Be The Match connects patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant. You could be the match and save a life today.
