Early Morning House Fire In Joplin

Joplin firefighters were busy Wednesday morning, battling a house fire in the 2100 block of Pearl before dawn.

On-lookers witnessed fire shooting out of the roof, and smoke billowing from the rafters. It took fire crews hours to put out the blaze. Luckily, everyone in the house escaped injury.

Fire Chief Jim Ferguson says the fire is still under investigation, but they don’t believe the cause is suspicious.
