Armed Robbery Leads To SWAT Deployment

An armed robbery around 8:15 in Joplin Tuesday morning has now led to several suspects holding up in another house and the SWAT team on scene. It all began in the 2500 block of S. Grand. The victims said the suspects had entered the house and stole property at gunpoint. No one was injured.

Joplin Police located the suspect vehicle about 15 minutes later parked in front of a house in the 2700 block of S. Minnesota.

Joplin SWAT is still on scene. Multiple people have exited the house and are being questioned by investigators. Officers are still attempting to get the other suspect/suspects out of the house. KZRG will continue to bring you updates on this story.
