Joplin area man pleads guilty to trafficking via the Postal Service
A man from rural Joplin has pleaded guilty to trafficking methamphetamines vial the U.S. Postal Service.
Christopher L. Meister pleaded guilty to meth possession with the intent to distribute and to possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
The Ozarks Drug Enforcement team -ODETS – determined Meister was receiving meth mailed from California to his home on Belle Center Road near Joplin.
Meister was arrested after ODETS detectives saw him take delivery of a package from the mail.
