Carthage man accused of making 2nd degree terrorist threat
He’s accused of threatening to blow up the Veterans Affairs building at 3015 S. Connecticut in Joplin.
A court affidavit says 47-year-old Mickey W. Baxley of Carthage called the clinic on October 8th and said, “That place needs to blow up.”
The affadavit says he had made an earlier call threatening to kill 500-600 politicians and their families.
Baxley is accused of one count of making a 2nd degree terrorist threat.
His next court appearance is slated for March 9th.
