Joplin man ID’d as shooting victim

A man from Joplin has been identified as the victim in a fatal shooting early Monday. The Joplin Police Department tells Newstalk KZRG that 36-year-old Gregory A. Coble died at a local hospital after being transported from 1302 S. Roosevelt Ave, where they were called to in reference to a burglary with gunshots fired.

Police say Coble was not a resident of the home; he was an acquaintance of a resident.
