Carthage is Hoping for a Hometown Makeover

Everyone needs and loves a makeover and The City of Carthage would love one as well. The City has entered into an HGTV contest to have a “Hometown Makeover”

The Carthage convention and visitors bureaus Executive Director Niki Cloud says she saw the competition that is open to any city that has less that 40,000 people, homes with great architecture longing to be revealed, and a main street that may need a facelift. Niki says that the competition is perfect for Historic Carthage!  She says that the town is already on the map with the Maple Leaf, Civil War history, Marion Days and amazing architecture.

So along with the Carthage Chamber of Commerce and Vision Carthage they are trying to get the word out and get your help to get the win.
