Boil Advisory For McCune
A boil water advisory is in effect for the city of McCune in Crawford County. The Kansas Department of Health says it’s due to a loss in pressure.
That means you should boil your water for at least one minute if you’re planning on using it for drinking or food preparation. Bottled water is recommended. You can flush your water lines by letting the water run until it’s clear. Health officials also recommend throwing out ice made from an automatic ice maker. You do not need to boil water that will be used for bathing.
KZRG will let you know when the boil advisory has been lifted, but if you have additional concerns, reach out to the KDHE at 785-296-5514.
