Joplin Police investigating report of shots fired

Joplin Police are investigating a report of shots fired into a house at 1302 Missouri just after 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Joplin Police tell Newstalk KZRG that two men kicked through the house’s front door and fired shots into the residence.

A man was inside but was not hit by the gunfire.

Following the incident the men left in a vehicle.

Police are asking for citizen assistance as the investigation continues. Anyone knowing details is asked to call the Joplin Police Department at 417-623-3131.
