JPD Release Photo Of Vehicle Used In Murder

Have you seen this mid 2000’s black Nissan Altima?

The Joplin Police Department believes the person driving the black ’05 or ’06 Nissan Altima 3.5L SE could be the person responsible for murdering 36-year-old Jonathan Powell at Westside Mini Storage on Roosevelt last month.

The security cameras at the storage unit shows the car has five spoke aluminum wheels, rear factory spoiler, chrome trim around the doors and windows with tinted side and rear windows.

Powell was found shot to death around 12:15 p.m on December 18, 2019.

The suspect should be considered armed and dangerous.
