Charges Filed Following I-44 High Speed Rollover Crash

There was a high speed rollover crash on I-44 on Sunday afternoon. 23-year-old Alejandro L. Nunn of Joplin was ejected as he lost cost control of his car, rolling it three times before it came to a stop at the bottom of an embankment. Missouri State Highway Patrol Sgt John Lueckenhoff says it all began when Nunn sped away from an attempted traffic stop.

“As a result of him fleeing from the troopers, he put two innocent parties at risk, which ultimately resulted in the trooper requesting charges for felony resisting arrest by fleeing.”

Nunn sustained only minor injuries.
