Father jailed in Cedar County following baby’s death

In Cedar County, a three month old baby is dead and the father is in jail.

Dewey Foster of Eldorado Springs was charged with child abuse or neglect of a child resulting in death.

The baby, Marcus Foster, who suffered injuries including blunt-force trauma to the head, died Nov. 24th after the mother left for work.

Dewey Foster  has two prior convictions for endangering the welfare of a child.

He pleaded not guilty before a judge Friday morning and is being held without bond. A bond hearing is set for Monday.
