Two men die in fatality accident near Nevada

Two people were killed in Vernon County Thursday night when their car ran off Highway BB four miles south of Nevada.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the car, driven by 21-year-old Benjamin Rash of Eldorado Springs, ran off the road and overturned.

Rash was killed as was his passenger, 21-year-old Jacob Guerrero of Sheldon.

Guerrero was pronounced dead at the scene by Vernon County Coroner David D. Ferry. Rash was pronounced dead a short time later at Nevada Regional Medical Center.

The Highway Patrol says neither driver or occupant were wearing safety devices.
