Alleged Joplin Honkey member arrested after ODET search warrant

An alleged member of the Joplin Honkey Gang was taken off the street thanks to ODET. Read the full press release below:

On Wednesday, Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team and Jasper County SWAT served a Search Warrant at 1926 County Road 155 in Carthage. After over an hour stand-off we were able to detain 4 suspects that were inside the residence.

30-year-old Cory Wright was taken into custody on 10 outstanding warrants along with 50-year-old Randy Forsythe, who was also wanted on several felony warrants including Resisting Arrest, Possession of a Firearm, Possession Controlled Substance, 2nd degree Assault, Peace Disturbance and a Felony Fugitive hold from Oklahoma.

Forsythe, who is a Joplin Honkey Gang member, has been on the run for some time now.

The two other occupants were released at the scene.

ODET Detectives located Suspected Methamphetamine, Paraphernalia and a loaded shotgun at the scene.
