Aerial search underway for thieves in Barton County

Barton County deputies have a plane in the air searching for a couple of thieves that took off in a densely wooded area after they were caught stealing farm equipment. The two men ran from officers on 126 Hwy west of I-49. The stolen equipment was also dumped at that location. Highway Patrol troopers, sheriff’s deputies, and officers with the Lamar Police Department are searching the area. A K9 unit is also on scene.
