O’Connell, Hall crowned 2019 Homecoming Royalty at MSSU

Brandon O’Connell and Kailey Hall were crowned Homecoming King and Queen during the all-campus picnic Friday, Oct. 4, at Missouri Southern State University.

O’Connell, a junior biology major from Republic, Mo., was sponsored by the Greek Council. The son of Michelle and Christopher O’Connell, he is also a member of Kappa Sigma and the Order of Omega. After graduation, he plans to continue his studies to become a chiropractor.

Hall, a senior biology/pre-dental major from Pittsburg, Kan., was also sponsored by the Greek Council. She is the daughter of Kevin and Amy Hall, and is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha, the Order of Omega, Omicron Delta Kappa, Alpha Chi, the Lion Ambassadors and Women in Science. She plans to attend dental school next fall.

The king and queen were chosen during an election earlier this week at Missouri Southern. Royalty will be recognized during halftime during the Homecoming football vs. the University of Central Missouri at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Fred Hughes Stadium.
