Motorcyclist Hits Tree In Barry County

A motorcyclist from Cassville had to be airlifted to the hospital after he smashed into a tree Sunday night. Troopers say 37-year-old Travis Meyer ran off the road on Highway 112 at Farm Road 2218 in Barry County before his Harley ran into the tree around 8:30 p.m. Meyer was taken to a Springfield hospital with moderate injuries.
