Carthage man arrested for burglary

A man from Carthage is facing charges for burglary in Cherokee County. Read the full press release below:

Robert Sanders, 44, of Carthage, is being held in the Cherokee County Jail after surrendering himself to authorities.

Cherokee County Sheriff’s Detective’s sought and obtained an arrest warrant for Sanders as the result of an investigation into a Monday morning burglary in Riverton where electronics and money were reported stolen.

Sanders is being held in lieu of $40,000.00 bond on charges of Burglary, Theft and Criminal Damage to Property.
