Man Hit By Semi On Route V

A man from Webb City is alive, but in bad shape after he was hit by a semi while walking in the road Tuesday night. The Highway Patrol says that accident happened just after 8 o’clock on Route V near Diamond. 32-year-old Carlos Martinez is in serious condition at Mercy in Joplin. The truck driver was uninjured.
