Neosho man seriously hurt after accident on Highway 59

An 18-year-old from Neosho is in serious condition after wreck when a tractor trailer pulled in front of his motorcycle this morning. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Charles Merrell was traveling north on Highway 59, just south of the Neosho Airport, when a tractor trailer pulled out in front of him. Merrell laid the motorcycle over and was ejected underneath the towed unit of the tractor trailer which drove over him. He was taken to a Joplin hospital with serious injuries.
