Armed Robbery Suspect STILL On The Run, Person-Of-Interest Sought
An armed robbery suspect in Newton County is still on the run. Sheriff Chris Jennings tells News Talk KZRG his deputies, along with the Highway Patrol, searched throughout the night for the man that shot at a homeowner who confronted him while he was burglarizing his property in Fairview Tuesday. The suspect crashed his vehicle and ran on foot south of Granby in the area of Mulberry & Highway H.
Jennings says they have a person-of-interest in mind and are working to positively ID him before releasing a name.
He’s described as a white male, thin build, short blonde hair, wearing a gray t-shirt with black lettering and faded blue jeans. He has tattoos on both arms.
