Downtown Diversity Pridefest 2019 held in downtown Jopln

Downtown Diversity Pridefest 2019 took place in downtown Joplin on Saturday.

The event included the saying of the National Anthem and the JOMO Pride March. The march was led by Miss Gay Missouri America 2019, Vega Markstone Hunter.

Other events held during the day were a Downtown Diversity Drag Show at Blackthorn Pub; Dream Theatre and RKO Floor Show on the Main Stage at 5th and Joplin; and a Pride Dance Party & Adult Lounge at @XO for those 21 year of age and over.

The day downtown wrapped up with a second Downtown Diversity Drag Show, a performance by Bill & Monica’s Excellent Adventure and a Show Your Pride Costume Contest & Raffle Drawing.

Evening events include an Adult Drag Show and Pride Glow Party at WhiskeyDicks and Live Music by Chase Carlisle AND Animal & the Prey at Blackthorn Club.
