Diamond Wastewater Grant

The City of Diamond is getting a $40,000 grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to evaluate the city’s wastewater system.

The city will use the grant to identify the improvements they need to do so they can continue to provide reliable sewer service to the area.

Over the next year and half, Diamond will inspect the wastewater system’s lift stations and brainstorm ways to keep rain water from getting into the sewer collection pipes.
