Trial Date Set For Man Accused Of Killing Mother

The man from Springfield accused of killing his own mother will stand trial on April 20, 2020

Investigators say 21-year-old Connor Cox, who struggles with mental health issues, shot 54-year-old Angela Cox in the neck while she was sitting in her home office in March 2018. He’s been charged with first-degree murder.

Court documents show that Connor’s father Terry told the police that he even hid a gun from his son in 2017.
