Copper Thief Electrocuted
A copper thief was electrocuted while trying to steal the metal from a radio station transmitter near Tulsa, and his accomplice is now charged with his murder. A third suspect was severely shocked. Police say the trio was stealing the copper to sell.
37-year-old Angie West was charged on Sunday with first-degree murder since 39-year-old Albert Badger died while they were committing the crime. The third suspect, who has not been identified, is in the hospital.
That incident happened at a radio tower in Sand Springs, about 7 miles west of Tulsa.
