Arrest Made In Deadly Hit And Run Crash

An arrest has finally been made in a deadly hit and run crash in Springfield.

KZRG told you last week about Missouri State University campus security manager 42-year-old Matthew Brown who was killed when a stolen moving truck hit his car and caused Brown to crash into an SUV.

27-year-old Shannon Shaffer of Springfield is charged with second-degree murder, second-degree assault, leaving the scene of a crash, first-degree tampering and driving with a revoked license.
