Arkansas Law Bans ALL Drivers From Texting Behind Wheel
Don’t even think about getting out your cell phone while you’re behind the wheel in Arkansas. As of this week, texting or hopping online while driving is illegal for all drivers.
The fine ranges from $25 to $250, and from $50 to $500 for a second offense. Get in a wreck while texting? The fine doubles.
In addition, drivers under 18 are prohibited from using a cell phone or a hands-free device while driving, but those over 18 can use a hands free device while driving.
