Murder Investigation Underway In Nevada

UPDATE: Police say the victim has been identified as 30-year-old Terah Hallam. She and 38-year-old Jason Hallam were found with gunshot wounds. 20-year-old Lance Berry was arrested at the scene and is facing charges.

Two people shot, one dead, and a homicide investigation underway in Nevada. That shooting happened around 2:30 Sunday afternoon in the 200 block of South Spring Street.

A call came in about a disturbance at the home. When police arrived they found two people suffering from gun shot wounds. The female victim later died at the hospital, and the male victim is recovering.

A suspect is in custody. No names or details have been released.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is assisting in the investigation.
