Franklin Technology center slates open house

The Franklin Technology Center Adult Education Program would like to invite the public to an open house at its new home at the Memorial Education Center, 810 S. Wall Avenue, July 18, 2019, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The event will showcase Practical Nursing, Surgical Technology and Medical Assistant Adult Education programs.

The Memorial Education Center has been in the educational service of our community for over 100 years and what was originally the home of Joplin Junior College is now once again serving the educational needs of our adult population.

FTC plans to show the community our newly remodeled facility that turned 23,000 square feet into a state of the art facility designed to equip adult students to serve in high wage, high need career paths within our community.

Classes are scheduled to begin in August 2019 in the new location at the Memorial Education Center.

Information regarding all full-time programs will be available at the event which includes the Dental Assistant Program, Respiratory Care, Automotive Technology, Collision Repair, HVAC, Welding, and Culinary Arts programs.

Tables will be there from the AEL/GED center, and the MO Career Center. Representatives from Corner Greer Architects and Construction Services Group will also attend.
