Neosho City Manager Resigns

Less than a year on the job and Neosho’s City Manager is resigning. Leland Butcher would not comment on the resignation. The City Council will hold a special meeting Thursday night to discuss it.

Butcher replaced Troy Royer, who resigned in 2016 and Dana Daniel served as the interim city manager in the meantime.

It’s believed Police Chief David Kennedy will be named as the interim city manager.
